Ebenezer has been providing supported accommodation and assistance to homeless youth since 1968. Now part of the National Partnership on Homelessness and funded by State and Federal Governments. Ebenezer Staff are mostly Aboriginal and provide culturally appropriate support for Aboriginal youth although all nationalities are accepted.
We run four hostels in the Mirrabooka region providing crisis and medium term accommodation and case management
CRISIS ACCOMMODATION - FOR FEMALES

Single female age from 15 to 25 inclusive

Homeless or at risk of being homeless

Maximum length of stay: with Case Management - 12 weeks

MEDIUM TERM ACCOMMODATION

Single male (Marangaroo) or female (Nollamara) aged from 18 to 25 inclusive

Must be engaged in work or training minimum three days per week

Capable of independant living

Adequate income to cover rent and living expenses

Case management and Life program involvement required

Maximum Length of stay: up to two years

EMPLOYMENT
Ebenezer VTEC is an employment and support agency for Indigenous men and women from the community and with funding from Minderoo Foundation specifically supports Indigenous men in Acacia prison to prepare for employment on release and assist them and their employer to ongoing success
We also work with job actives and employment agents to assist clients with practical skills, qualifications and knowledge to enter employment. This support includes assistance with work placement problems, family support and other conditions that may arise during the first six months of your placement

FAMILY SUPPORT
The Wungening Moort Program is a Consortium of Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations, established to deliver In-Home Support Services for Aboriginal families living in the Perth metropolitan area.
The Consortium comprises:
• Wungening Aboriginal Corporation (Lead Agency)
• Ebenezer Aboriginal Corporation
• Coolabaroo Community Services
• Moorditj Koort
Wungening Moort will provide a culturally responsive and integrated service and will work to empower Aboriginal families to make the changes they need to make to keep their children safe at home.
